The waste bag when I do dry walls poked out the machine with dust and I’ve watched the videos. I’ve had mine since 2018 and just use the self clean for drywall 0 dust.

I got this .. but why the permanent attachment of a PLUG. While all the other plugged tools can switch out. Yah i would have rather have had a CORDLESS PLANER.

I have one, it was $69.50, from Sydney Tools, Munno Para, Adelaide. Little beauty, cutter is very sharp. The Festool TS Saw Pizza Cutter has a bigger name than the item itself. The blade comes out for easy cleaning. Love it. ❤

What NO battery for a compact design?

Awesome video! Do they make an option where the punch attachment can be set for angles? So you could drop in at 45 or 22.5 ? Otherwise I guess I could attach the one in your video to a block of wood with the desired angle cut.

I bought this drill to replace my Ryobi sds hammer drill and its hammer drilling function is great but I wish I did a bit more research. I assumed all SDS hammer drills had a hammer only function (for chiseling up tiles and light jackhammer style work) but Festools hammer drill doesn’t have this function so instead of replacing a tool, I’m now carrying and extra tool. The design team at Festool normally have every base covered which leaves me scratching my head how they missed this one.

Any advice for me? I cannot get the power head to release from the up position, nor can I release the blade guard. Motor engages but “stuck” in the up position. Must be something simple.

For the price this is a joke. I just bought the Milwaukee 10” cordless for lest then half price. Run off a single high output all day. The bevel pull adjustment is way easier, it can covert from sliding and lock chop saw with just a switch. Milwaukee miter adjustment with 3 function with just a few simple switches at your fingertips. This festool everything or function is exactly same as ordinary miter saw. Nothing special. And I hate those tightening knobs at the front. They always come lost and fall off. For the price it’s garbage comparing to the Milwaukee 10” cordless. I don’t go for brand names no more. I go for durability, accuracy and functional engineering design. It’s stupid to invest into brand names with nothing special to it.

Love mine, I used it with a ets ec 150 sander to remove all the old gelcoat off a glider and the filter hardly had a speck of dust in it. The bags work fantastic. I have the Bluetooth button too which is great when using it as a general vacuum for cleaning cars etc

Really wish those centrotec auger bits were available in the US

just converted the bluetooth from the old remote setup, to the new.. the bolts didn't work, too short, not sure what the deal is?? Do you know what the 5mm bolt is supposed to be length wise?

Don't buy it - just got one and the bevel is not right at 0° - and there is no way to adjust it. Really deceived by such a big name, so expensive saw !

Much more informative than the manual that comes with the tool. I learned a couple of things that the manual didn’t even mention.

Only being able to connect one battery at a time to the dust extractor is a MAJOR design flaw. It is extremely inefficient having to switch the battery from one tool to the next. The system should have been design to allow several batteries to be connected to bluetooth at one time. Having to go over to the dust extractor to reset the bluetooth pairing (if not switching the battery) or switching the battery to the next tool is just as annoying as having to manually turn the vacuum on and off at the switch.

Hey Festool. Loud rock music does not make me like your product more. It makes it seem like you're trying to move attention away from the product and makes me doubt your quality. Explain your stuff instead of loud meaningless promos, please. Not a single feature was actually explained. How is it self-aligning for instance? You keep claiming so, yet I still havent found an explanation for your supposed aligning mechanism.
